"Doubt and fear are the great enemies of knowledge and she who encourages them, who does not slay them, thwarts herself at every step." - As A Man Thinketh
I've heard it said that we're born with only a few fears, like the fear of falling and the fear of loud noises. All other fears, we learn along the way, like the fear of failure, the fear of rejection, even the fear of success.
I believe our greatest enemy in life is fear because fear keeps us from doing many of those things we'd like to do that would make our life more complete and more enjoyable.
Doubt is the first cousin of fear and it precedes it. We weren’t born with doubt. Our habit of doubt is grown throughout our life. If we dwell on a doubt and give into it, then it grows into fear.
In his epistle, the ancient writer James reminds us that doubt makes us ineffective. "A doubtful mind will be as unsettled as the wave of the sea that is tossed and driven by the wind; and every decision you then make will be uncertain as you turn first this way, and then that."
If most of our fears and all of our doubts are learned along the way, then we can unlearn them by becoming masters of our thoughts.
I once heard Zig Ziglar quote Mark Twain when he said "true courage is not the absence of fear, it's the mastery of fear."
The people who live the life of their dreams have just as many fears as those who live miserable, unfulfilled lives. They've just learned to master their fears instead of allowing their fears to master them.
Norman Vincent Peale, writing in You Can if You Think You Can, provides us with a prescription for mastering fear and doubt:
"You can cancel out fear with faith, for there is no force in this world more powerful than faith. The most amazing things can happen as a result of it.
"There are two massive thought forces competing for control of the mind, fear and faith. And faith is stronger, much stronger.
"Hold that thought of faith's great power until you believe it, for it can be the difference between success and failure."
And that’s worth thinking about. by Vic & Lisa Johnson

Stop over-trying to impress people,
when you already have the magic
inside of you to shine.
Start trusting in what you already
have inside of you, instead of feeling
like you have to pretend to act like
someone you're not.
Yes it's true...
You need to study leaders and
powerful people to get better...
But you are unique!
You were made to impact thousands of
lives with your unique abilities and gifts...
You just have to be willing to tap
into them and actually use your gifts.
Did you know that your
gifts are valuable like gold?
And did you know...?...
Your value = influence = income.
...and because this is so...
Then isn't it about time you started
sharing more of your value with the
world?
Then isn't it about time you started
sharing more of your gifts with the
world?
I think it is...
Because I want to see them!
Because I know the world wants to see them!
...and I know your bank account
would like to see them as well ;)
Because remember...
Your Gifts = Value = Your Income.
Have a blessed Sunday family.
And stay unique!

Attract the right business partner and you will Succeed!!
" To attract powerful people, you must be powerful. To attract committed people, you must be committed. Instead of going to work on them, you go to work on yourself. If you become, you can attract." Jim Rohn

See the abundance within you! Luke 17:21 For indeed, the Kingdom of God is within you! We are naturally conscious of lack, but Jesus isn't. His eyes were always on the Kingdom of God where there is abundance! God doesn't want you to be conscious of the lack in your natural circumstances. He wants you to be conscious of the abundance of resources in His Kingdom! As long as you have received Jesus as your Savior, that Kingdom, is within YOU! Be conscious first of the abundance inside you, then what is inside you will become a reality in your life! Joseph Prince

Bad money lesson #1: Time and tasks are your commodity Employees sell their time to entrepreneurs to do tasks. You come into the office, slog it out for eight to ten hours, do whatever you’re told, and in return get a paycheck. As an employee, your most valuable commodity is your time and the tasks you accomplish in that time. The problem is that if you don’t have time to sell, if you get sick or injured for instance, you don’t make money. And if companies aren’t looking to buy your time because there aren’t enough tasks to go around, you don’t have a job, no matter how talented you are.
By contrast, entrepreneurs sell ideas or products. They get paid not for their time and tasks, but for the value they bring to the table in solving problems for the world and creating jobs. And if they do it right, they create companies and systems that make money even when they aren’t working.

I've often thought of this and now here it is, put so succinctly!
I think we should be raising kids as entrepreneurs instead of lawyers. Unfortunately the school system is grooming this world to say "Hey let's be a lawyer, or let's be a doctor and we're missing that opportunity to be an entrepreneur. If we could get kids to embrace the idea of being entrepreneurial we could change everything in the world today. Entrepreneurs are people who see these needs and have these passions and and we decide to stand up & do it and we have the ability to make it happen. I think we have an obligation as parents to start teaching our kids to fish instead of giving them the fish! If we could teach the kids who have these traits to be entrepreneurial, the ones who have the traits to be, we could actually have all these kids spreading businesses instead of waiting for government hand-outs…Cameron Harold

The process of setting goals helps you choose where you want to go in life. By knowing precisely what you want to achieve, you know where you have to concentrate your efforts. You'll also quickly spot the distractions that can, so easily, lead you astray. By setting sharp, clearly defined goals, you can measure and take pride in the achievement of those goals, and you'll see forward progress in what might previously have seemed a long pointless grind. You will also raise your self-confidence , as you recognize your own ability and competence in achieving the goals that you've set.
“The reason most people never reach their goals is that they don’t define them, or ever seriously consider them as believable or achievable. Winners can tell you where they are going, what they plan to do along the way, and who will be sharing the adventure with them.” Philjair CaƱeda

I made cards & more cards and to my amazement, people liked and bought my cards. Before I knew it, I was selling cards in local shops! I began to take digital photographs and when the horizon wasn't straight, I straightened it with my photo editor! I filtered, I colorized, I drew and drew and drew. I began to see pictures in my sleep and was able to quickly create them almost as I saw them! I played with chalk, acrylic paints, combinations of chalk, pain & digital modalities. This was definitely a new season! Blind woman creating art? It didn't make sense!
For God selected, deliberately chose, what in the world is foolish to put the wise to shame and what the world calls weak to put the strong to shame. New Testament 1 Corinthians 1:27 Amplified Bible

- So what exactly is positive thinking? You might be tempted to assume that it implies seeing the world through rose-colored lenses by ignoring or glossing over the negative aspects of life. However, positive thinking actually means approaching life's challenges with a positive outlook. It does not necessarily mean avoiding or ignoring the bad things; instead, it involves making the most of potentially bad situations, trying to see the best in other people, and viewing yourself and your abilities in a positive light.
Having a positive outlook is a choice. You can choose to think thoughts that elevate your mood, throw a more constructive light on difficult situations, and generally color your day with brighter, more hopeful approaches to the things you do. By choosing to take a positive outlook on life, you can begin to shift out of a negative frame of mind and see life as filled with possibilities and solutions instead of worries and obstacles. If you want to know how to think more positively, just follow these tips.
1. Understand the benefits of being a positive thinker. Choosing to think more positively will not only help you take control of your life and make your everyday experiences more pleasant, but it will have countless benefits on your mental and physical health as well as your ability to deal with change. Being aware of these benefits can help you be even more motivated to think positively on a regular basis.[1]Here are some of the most important benefits of positive thinking:
- An increased life span
- Lower rates of depression and distress
- Greater resistance to the common coldBetter mental and physical well-being
- Better coping skills during times of stress
- A more natural ability to form relationships and cement bond
Take responsibility for your attitude. Remember that you experience about 50,000 to 60,000 thoughts every single day of your life. And they're your thoughts –– nobody controls how you feel and think unless you let them. This might seem like a very challenging idea if you're used to absorbing the emotions and preferences of other people, but you're always making a choice to think positively or negatively.
- Own up to the reality that your feelings are something you can control. This will make you feel more empowered and able to change your thinking patternsMake a plan to stop being a negative thinker. That means deciding to conquer the negativity that is going on around you -- and there will always be plenty of it. Think of what you can do today that is good for you and others that is positive and constructive. Decide how you will react in ways that will make a difference to your life instead of allowing people and situations to dictate what you think and do. Here's how to have a bullet-proof game plan for positive thinking:
- Don't let other people ruin your plan. People will often make things seem more important or worrisome than they really are. By not allowing yourself to be swept away by crowd-enhanced anxiety and instead taking time to think it over and get an answer that works, you'll feel less pressured to conform or to fall in line even though doing so doesn't match who you are.
- Making a plan to be more positive will already be a move in the right direction. This will help you to stay positive because you will feel a greater sense of control over your life and your choices.
- Your plan can be simple: you can vow to identify and record your negative thoughts each day, and to take time to reflect on why you had those thoughts and how you can improve them.
- As you continue to execute your plan, you'll see that identifying your negative thoughts becomes easier and maintaining a negative attitude will be harder.

Bryce inspired me! The challenges he lived with placed him in the hospital and I wanted to brighten his day. I couldn't be there because of distance but thought I could at least send a card… I got it in my head that I wanted to make one on the computer. I bought my first computer 4 years prior when my father was diagnosed with cancer. I bought the suite with it and in there, I knew I had some kind of something to make pictures, cards etc. Now this was going to be a new challenge, blind girl making cards but I love challenges and I especially love doing things that people think I cannot do! So I opened up the program, thankful for accessibility on the computer, and began to create. The first cards were amateurish and well, simple. But Bryce was gracious and told me the cards were beautiful, that they lifted his day and that he really appreciated them.
There is much to be said for calling the gems out in people. The Book that I read says Life and death are in the power of the tongue... The words we speak have power, they are more powerful than many people realize. The words we say can put a smile on someone's face or bring tears to another one's eyes. We can encourage one another with the words we speak or we can crush the hopes and dreams of the ones we love by not watching what we say
What Bryce did for me with his words changed my life. It literally brought me into a new adventure, a new season. It would take me places I'd never been before and I would see myself doing things I had never done. That's the power of the spoken word.

Hmmmmm…what have I said to others today? Was I positive? Or negative? Did I respond to another person’s negative comment with more negativity? Or did I try to improve the situation with something positive? If I didn’t have something positive or helpful to say, did I speak anyway? Or did I keep my thoughts to myself? When I ‘corrected’ my chidren, was I irritated and negative? Or did I try to speak in an instructive, helpful way for the purpose of bringing about good?

CONQUER YOUR SALES FEAR
s a business owner, you're in sales whether you think so or not. Every day you have to sell yourself -- and your product or service -- to grow your business. If you're not sure you have the personality to succeed in selling, consider these5 simple rules to create a superstar sales mindset.
1. Stay hungry: Every good salesperson I've ever encountered is driven. They have a strong work ethic and a high energy level. They work harder and longer than their peers. When the economy is poor, they are still out there pounding the pavement, doing whatever it takes. How do you "stay hungry"? Keep your dream in front of you! Create your vision board and look at it several times a day. Think, speak and act as if you already have the things you desire!
2. Stay positive: Your attitude, not your aptitude, will determine your altitude. Success is 98 percent attitude! . You can alter your life by altering your mind. In tough economies, it may not be your fault for being down, but it is certainly your fault for not getting up. You have to be a believer to be an achiever. How do you do this? Spend at least 30 minutes a day in personal development. Read books on quantum physics and changing your mindset. Understand who God has made you to be and think, speak and act the same!
3. Set goals: Winners set goals; losers make excuses. Goals give you more than a reason to get up in the morning; they are an incentive to keep you going all day. They must be measurable, identifiable, obtainable, specific -- and put them in writing.! Write down what you will do on a daily basis that will cause you to achieve your goals and then get it done. Make the changes you need to make in order to accomplish your daily goals.
4. Connect with others in business: Attend business meetings of like-minded entrepreneurs and/or join social media groups such as Facebook, Linked In, Twitter and Tumblr. Post about your successes, your life and inspire others with positive brain food. And post value, something that your friends & customers can use!
Before you know it, you will see that social media connections help support your goals and keep you inspired to accomplish them.
5. Be grateful: Have a grateful attitude about all that you have, all that you don't yet have and all that you will have! Write down what you are thankful for and review it often, think, speak & live thankfulness!
There are many more principles in overcoming business fear but these, I feel are most important. If you will be consistent & persistent in these things, you will see personal & business growth like nobody's business! Be blessed and encouraged!

I'm in it to win it! I'm not here to play or be in a club…I'm in it to win it! The "C" stands for C*A*S*H!
You have not failed, you have only experimented! You just keep moving, shedding those things that don't work & moving into the things that do work! Who cares what anyone else thinks! You are the one who has to live with yourself and the future is in your hands, not your negative friend's & family! When is the last time they paid your bills?!
I know there are a lot of awesome new people in the group and I want to encourage you to keep moving forward no matter what! Review your dream, your WHY,feed your subconscious mind healthy brain food. Know that you are building a legacy! Be blessed and encouraged and let's syndicate

But I digress! Please let me get back to my story…
As I stated I was one of 2500 employees laid off from a place where I had worked 16 years. Funny how that happens, and what do we do but go look for another not-so-secure, secure job! I ended up working for another State agency, where I would experience another great change in my life!
His name was Bryce, a tall, thin, handsome man with a pale look about him. He was a winner, I could tell, because he took risks and this time the risk paid off for both of us. We were at opposite ends of the friendship spectrum but something…OK Someone, connected us. You know that inner voice? You should always listen to that inner voice…I would not be here typing this blog tonight if I had not listened to that inner voice and had not completed the assignments I heard...

And so my journey continues…In November of 1998, II received my "pink slip" after working in the same place for 16 years! I went from $2200 a month to $800 on unemployment with no solid prospects in sight. I just can't walk into a place & get a job! You know us blind peeps, we have NEEDS! We need STUFF to help us with simple tasks, expensive stuff and employers really don't want to deal with that. I thought about waitressing, but gave that up because they kept moving the furniture! I'm kidding about the waitressing! I did what any determined woman would do and I applied for any job I even remotely qualified for! What haunted me though was the BIG IF…If we had only built our business….
I figured out how to earn more money AFTER retirement, month after month after month, so that I can REALLY travel, give excessively and devote the second half of my life helping others. And I'm doing it from my home, with my coffee…in my PJs, relaxed! My future is bright! I'll NEVER limit my giving because of lack again!
But in the coming day, no weapon turned against you will succeed! YOU will silence every voice raised up to accuse you! These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord, their vindication will come from Me because I the Lord have spoken! Isaiah 47:17 NLT
But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rise against you in judgement you shall show to be in the wrong. This, peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, those in whom the ideal servant of the Lord is reproduced, this is the righteousness! Isaiah 47:17 Amplified Bible
I love these words, they are powerful! I'm not a theologian but I believe this promise is manifested in people who know who God has made them to be, who know that they have AUTHORITY in the universe through the power of the spoken word! What are you talking about? Are you talking about your ailments, lack of finances, limitations? Are you shaming & blaming others for YOUR circumstances? What's up with that! Where has it gotten you?! How about changing things around and talking about the things you WANT and not the things you DON'T WANT! How do you do this? What are you feeding your mind? I recommend a look at your mental health diet. Read personal development material, listen to uplifting music. Just do it! Everyday spend significant time allowing the positive stuff to go in so that it can overwrite the junk you've been pouring into your mind for years!
I'm pretty strict about the things I listen to. I don't have a TV in my home, nothing wrong with TV, I just choose not to have one. I listen to books that will feed & nourish my subconscious mind: The Bible and master mind authors such as Zig Ziggler, Joyce Meyer, Bill Johnson, Claude Bristol, John Maxwell to name a few.
I am on a great adventure! I am seeing my life's purpose manifest before my eyes and I am not going to let anything or anyone get in the way! Today, make a decision that no weapon formed against you shall prosper because you CHOOSE to be an atmosphere changer with your words, and the first atmosphere that you change is your own!

I began Network Marketing back in the day with a very well known company. My dream at that time was just to be debt free. Buy cars with cash! Go on vacations with cash! CASH! I wanted cash above & beyond my own needs so I could live instead of just get up, go to work, come home, eat dinner, go to bed and do the same day after day after day for 30 years.
When I wanted a vacation, I worked every bit of overtime I could get to pay for it. Any extra money I got or had at the end of the month went toward credit card bills. I HATED debt and the chains it put around me.
And now I want to say that after college I married. And together we managed to get ourselves into a heap of debt . We argued about how much to pay on the bills. We were involved in Network Marketing, but while I love the process, he despised it. In this particular company, it is desirable for COUPLES to be working the business together. It required change of mindset. Working on the mind is often painful, especially for people with unresolved childhood issues.I tried to pick up the slack but could not. Eventually, we became inactive, only buying products which I still do to this day.
The things I learned in this business became a foundation for things I now do. I do not consider the time with this awesome company wasted. I greatly value the training I received, the life skills I learned, the people I met and most of all the passion this business gave me to accomplish my ever evolving dreams. I just didn't know how it would happen but somehow, I knew it would!

That day, when it became apparent that a brand new season was upon me, I dug into the Psalms of King David. I devoured & declared His word of hope and victory. As the years have flown by, I now see how this became a default setting for me when in the middle of a challenge. Turning to thankfulness and victory, speaking out those things that are not as though they were have so structured my life that today, I stand at the forefront of a huge vision.

So, yes, I'm a network marketer or affiliate marketer. As I review my life, I see that everyday has truly prepared me for this day! And though I have still a journey to go, I can say with passion, that I have passed many tests, I have conquered huge obstacles. Today in my morning quiet time, I read this:
Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And He chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful. 1 Corinthians 1:27 NLT
I believe in multiple streams of income. Back in the day you worked one network marketing business, or at least this was my impression. Your business was THE one that was going to get you that thing, whatever it was you were calling down heaven & earth for. Today, is a new day with new tools and strategies. I believe Any business that you will work, will work for you!. If you have a dream that is bigger than yourself and you want it as bad as you want to breathe, you can sell stuff animal snot and make millions…because you just have to! The dream and the vision…that's what I had . Somehow…there had to be a way...http://bit.ly/16DdL8Z

Praise and thankfulness comes easily when things are going well. It is more natural, comfortable, normal. But as a young woman with my entire life ahead of me and losing the majority of what little sight I had, I dug deep to pull up a thankful heart. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 in the New Testament says In everything give thanks for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. Really? You're kidding right?

It was summers end when it happened. I had just spent a very nice week of camping with my sister & parents before going back to college in Canada. I was physically packed & mentally ready to get going on the work again. I had only 2 years left with a goal to graduate with a degree as a church choir director. Honestly, I loved Bible school but wasn't sure just how I would ever direct a choir being that I couldn't see the music unless it was 4 inches from my face. I frequently mused about this but thought somehow it would all work out. And it did work out, just not the way I expected.
That last day, I noticed things did not look quite normal. Something was happening with the very little eyesight that I did have. As we traveled home, I noticed a fog inching its way over my field of vision until I could no longer distinguish shapes, only blurred images. The ophthalmologist diagnosed a detached retina and soon, my mother and I were on our way to San Francisco to see a retina specialist.

Graham Cooke: Everything in your life right now is training. It doesn't matter whether your situation is good, bad or ugly. In one sense, it's irrelevant. It's all about you being equipped in every single situation that you face. You're learning how to receive under pressure, stand your ground and how to say "no" to the enemy and "yes" to God
I was 20, I was afraid, I was alone with my faith. The surgery took 9 hours. After a couple of days, the bubble they had placed in the back of my eye would be gone and then they would know, then I would know…. And so as I lay on my stomach I hoped & prayed for a miracle.
. The point is, that no matter what happens in your life, if you have a dream you will find a way to challenge the circumstances that say you cannot do it, and you will show the world differently! Please enjoy this picture when you click on the text!

How do you decide what to blog? How do give a title especially when blogging about yourself? I could have said I'M BLIND AND I'M AN ARTIST…Or I could have left out the blind part but then you'd miss the adventure of my life! Being blind is not who I am but it is a characteristic of my being that has shaped me to this day! Oh yes I am an artist too! I'll get to that part, I promise.
College, yes…After High School, I wanted to go to college to learn about the Bible. My parents, not being people of faith, were not thrilled but still they allowed me to go where I chose and that was to Canada to attend Canadian Bible College in Regina Sasketchewan. I thought I'd find a nice young man there, get married and feel secure that somebody loved me even though… well you know! II spent two wonderful growing years there and then it happened...

Wow! This is my very first blog of all time! I do have a story to tell…don't we all! Before I go deep, I'd like to give you a little background about me…the me that is definitely me! I'm unique…aren't we all! I was born in the 50s, the 4th of 5 children and the second daughter with Congenital Glaucoma. I was fortunate to be born to strong determined, educated parents. My father was a college graduate, a Navy Lieutenant and a rancher and my Mother a Registered Nurse and Lieutenant in the Women's Army Corp. Aside from medication training and school issues, they treated me no differently than my siblings and told me that I could be anything that I wanted to be.What I wanted to be was able to see like everybody else. I was always the different one; the girl with the thick glasses, the large heavy school books and the one who couldn't read the black board without walking right up to it! Yes, when I went to school, the white boards were black and we used that stuff called chalk! Well, I survived school in spite of the challenges with peers and self-image. I went on to college where I encountered my first life change…More later...
